Possible school garden

I have spoken to two of the ladies that run the Chilmark Community Center children's program in the summertime. I mentioned the concept of a garden and they were enthusiastic about having the Center continue it after school closes. They suggested that they could sell the vegetables to their parents to help defray costs. ("If I say, 'your kid picked this,' they will buy it." said one.) Their main concern offhand seemed to be that they do not know enough about gardening. I said the plan we were batting around involved raising enough to hire a part time farmer advisor (or team of them?) and they were almost ready to go!
